We are seeking an administrative assistant to provide crucial support to our catering and events team while delivering exceptional customer service. This is a part-time role, approximately 15-20 hours per week with flexibility for partial remote work. JOB DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:Respond promptly to customer inquiries via email and phone regarding catering services. Deliver exceptional customer service experiences to clients, employees, and the community. Create and manage invoices, contracts, and follow up on payment receipts. Create/assist with menu proposals. Manage backend office operations and logistical tasks. Update and maintain menu items in databases and on the website. Coordinate incoming catering orders and ensure smooth operations. Collaborate closely with owner/chef and catering team to streamline daily operations. Assist in staff scheduling for events and manage work schedules.Handle miscellaneous HR functions such as new hire setups and employee time clock adjustments. Support various projects and reports as required. QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or GED required.Minimum of two years’ experience in high-volume administrative role; experience in catering, hospitality, or food/beverage industry preferred.Proficient in computer programs and office equipment (computers, printers, etc.).Strong organization skills with keen attention to detail.Effective written and verbal communication skills; excellent phone and email etiquette required.Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a dynamic environment.
