We are seeking an administrative assistant to provide crucial support to our catering and events team while delivering exceptional customer service. This is a part-time role, approximately 15-20 hours per week with flexibility for partial remote work. JOB DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:Respond promptly to customer inquiries via email and phone regarding catering services. Deliver exceptional customer service experiences to clients, employees, and the community. Create and manage invoices, contracts, and follow up on payment receipts. Create/assist with menu proposals. Manage backend office operations and logistical tasks. Update and maintain menu items in databases and on the website. Coordinate incoming catering orders and ensure smooth operations. Collaborate closely with owner/chef and catering team to streamline daily operations. Assist in staff scheduling for events and manage work schedules.Handle miscellaneous HR functions such as new hire setups and employee time clock adjustments. Support various projects and reports as required. QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or GED required.Minimum of two years’ experience in high-volume administrative role; experience in catering, hospitality, or food/beverage industry preferred.Proficient in computer programs and office equipment (computers, printers, etc.).Strong organization skills with keen attention to detail.Effective written and verbal communication skills; excellent phone and email etiquette required.Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a dynamic environment. We did a lot of amazing things tonight. This Charcuterie spread was one of them. One of the most exceptional event nights of my life with this business. I’m at a loss for words and joyfully tearful with gratefulness for the most exceptional team and client.

Here’s what’s going on. Hot food will not be available in our Franklinton café today. Yesterday, the air wasn’t working
in the café and it was sweltering. We’re hoping it’s fixed now, but it took a lot out of Alex, so he’s going to take the day off to recoup. Layla is on vacation. So that leaves us short staffed in the café.
We will have our amazingly fresh and healthy salad bar open around 11:15am. There are so many options. And seriously, isn’t today salad eating weather?!? 🔥🔥🔥
The grab and go case has a lot of great chilled options as well. Grilled chicken, watermelon, chilled salads, sweet treats. We will continue to try our best to restock it all day.
And if you see me in the café, it means we got it together enough to offer some cold sandwiches as well. Time will tell…
