The Thunder Over Columbus Air Show welcomes Tora Tora Tora Airshows to perform their living history reenactment of the December 7th, 1941, attack on U.S. Armed Forces stationed at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. This year our air show will also feature a new section dedicated to showcasing military aviation history at Columbus Air Force Base.
The Thunder Over Columbus Air Show welcomes the workhorse of the fleet, the venerable KC-135, responsible for extending global reach of the world's greatest Air Power!
The Thunder Over Columbus Air Show welcomes the F-15 Strike Eagle to our show! The fighter aircraft will be located under the sunshades just past our heavy lift aircraft and within a short walk to the STEM EXPO!
The mighty C-5 Galaxy will be at the Thunder Over Columbus Air Show to welcome our guests!!!

Do not turn at the Columbus AFB plane display off 45. Keep going north for the 373 exit on the left side of the highway near Hamilton, MS.

UPDATE: The South Gate is now opened as an entrance for the general public. Please make sure you are not going to the east gate as that is not open to the general public.

VENDOR UPDATE: All the food vendors have credit and debit card capability and will also take cash. No ATMs are available on the show grounds.

WOW, Columbus AFB had their biggest Airshow ever in one day this Saturday, March 26. A big thank you to everyone who came out to support. We acknowledge the traffic concerns, which did not allow everyone to enter so we hope you will join us tomorrow. In order to expedite the traffic flow please review the updates below, but we ask you to be flexible and monitor Facebook and our website at www.wocairshow.com
Gates will open at 9:00 a.m.
General public will enter at the North Gate:
Two lines will be opened at the North gate (general public gate) in the morning.
The general public entrance coming from Columbus is at the intersection of 45-N and Barton Ferry Rd which connects into MS-373.
Coming from Tupelo just turn onto MS-373. Watch for signs off 45 N.
North gate will close for inbound traffic at 3:30 to prepare for the flow of traffic after the final show of the day. The Thunderbirds are scheduled to perform approximately 3:25.
There will be six buses coming from Columbus transporting people to the Airshow (old K-Mart parking lot and behind Leigh Mall at the old JCPenney’s area). They will begin pickup at 8:30 a.m. and continuously make pickups and drop offs until 2:30 p.m. The buses will be positioned to depart the base directly after the last performance. Directions will be provided to all passengers upon exiting the bus at the Airshow.

Reminders: The show is free! No outside food. Only clear bags. Empty water bottles only; there are water refill stations at the show grounds. No coolers except for baby formula/medical supplies. Folding chairs are encouraged. Bring ear protection.

The T-1 Jayhawk is a phase 3 airframe. The T-1 is used to train the next generation of air mobility, airlift, refueling and recon pilots. Operated under the 48th Flying Training Squadron, the T-1 helps create hundreds of pilots annually.
