What a journey this has been. The first flower I remember was one from the temple; it was a marigold and it smelled of saffron and rose. My cousin Krsangi would’ve said “smells like the lord”.
Little did I know that I would one day be surrounded by blooms.
When I first started Prema Designs, transparently it was with a desire to be recognized for making beautiful things and bringing my clients inspirations to life.
As I grew I quickly realized I don’t want to do this alone. I hate being alone. I love people. I love MY people and I want to be around them all the time.
My little vision quickly developed into a passion for creating a team.
Thousands of blooms later, hundred of clients, countless hours of exhaustion, love, tears, anger, nerves, butterflies, gross hands, swollen feet, pain, extreme joy, lots of belly laughs and a ton of beauty later Prema has become something that I could only have ever dreamed.
Prema is now a name that carries weight as one of the top florist teams in Columbus. A team that is built on enthusiasm, excitement, a love for flowers and mainly a love for our people.
15 years in and I can say this moment right here is my dream.
Thanks to my parents for fueling my creativity, to my brother for lighting the fire and to my husband for always standing by me, supporting me, loving me and keeping my flame burning.
To all of Prema’s friends and loved ones thank you for every ounce of support you have given. Your support has allowed us all to continue to create and dream.
To my TEAM. Thank you for every moment you’ve given. Your dedication is unmatched. You are a beautiful blessing. You all are my reason to keep pushing. You have made my dreams and inspirations come to life. But mainly and most importantly you have made Prema come to life.
I am humbled.
I am grateful.
And I am beyond proud of this incredible team I get to call my home.
