You'd be surprised (or not) how much BS I post and it'll get dozens of likes and then I serve something I've put my heart into for crickets and maybe 5 likes. It's fine because I'm passionate about what I do as a DJ and will keep doing it, but man does it get discouraging.

THIS is why I have such a heart for independent artists in general and always try to use my own platform when I can to shine a light on them. Because it costs nothing to do so and how else will myself or they get exposure to the world unless someone shares it? And also keep in mind, a lot of advertising comes right out of the artists pocket.

So think of that next time when scrolling right past one of my or another artist trying to showcase their passion and support your local and independent artists. I would do it for you and share what you love if you're passionate about your craft! 😎😎

Oh damn!!! I thought someone was joking when they said she got arrested yesterday 😱😱

Nicki Minaj was arrested by police at Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport on Saturday, a Dutch National Police source confirmed to ABC News.

The Dutch Military Police, in a statement, said a 41-year-old woman was arrested for trying to leave the country while in "possession of soft drugs, which is prohibited."

Earlier, the 12-time Grammy nominee posted a video to Instagram Live showing her discussing the arrest with an Amsterdam police officer. The officer stated she was being detained "because you're carrying drugs" when she asked for the reason behind her arrest.

Can we talk about how simple, elegant, and sexy this is at the same time? No bells, whistles, just simplicity at it's finest and done well!

Those that know me, know I've ALWAYS been a analog fan versus faders. Maybe it's just the old school in me, but personally, I feel you can control and tweak the sound MORE (provided you know how 😆) giving it a more natural versus synthetic sound.

Musicians, DJs, sound off! What are your thoughts/mixer preferences? 🤔

Here is another amazing CLEAN analog mixer that I just played on. I was totally blown away by the clarity. No colors whatsoever. There are so many great mixers out there. It really is about what a person prefers to hear coming out of his or her speakers. I don’t think that it’s fair to say which mixer is the best. That’s a lost conversation.

On March 21, people will wear brightly colored, mismatched socks to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day. The Lots Of Socks campaign encourages people to wear their most eye-catching socks to start a conversation about Down syndrome. The socks can be mismatched, funky, or have stripes or polka dots. The colors blue and yellow, which are the colors of Down syndrome awareness, are often worn. The socks show alignment with people and the uniqueness of people with Down syndrome.
