We’re excited to introduce our first-ever Forensic Art Class this fall. The course, which is free for high school students, will run from September 6th to December 5th, every Friday from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, in our upstairs Laura Ann Rau Gallery. Instructor Daniel Poré has created a program that provides a distinctive chance for artists to contribute to law enforcement efforts by aiding in the real-time identification of suspects.

Art Stars Summer Camp at the Live Oak Art Center.
That's a wrap!!! Our first week of Art Stars summer camp was a huge success. We'll see some of you back for next week's classes starting Monday at 10AM.
Stop by the gallery from May 15th - June 30th to check out Steven Henry's collection of paintings, drawings, and hand-made prints. The artist reception will be Friday May 24th from 5:30-7:30. #texasart #pleinair
The Paint Texas plein air exhibit is still on display here at the gallery until the end of the month. The downstairs gallery has the Paint Texas competition submissions, and the upstairs gallery has the Paint Texas artists' other amazing artwork that's on display for sale. You definitely need to come and check it out, these pieces are amazing! Your support not only helps the local artists, but it helps the gallery as well.
