Joy ✨ The last couple weeks have been full of illness and unexpected expenses (why does everything break at once?) 🫣 but I count it all joy, because those things make me realize how much I have to be grateful for (so, so much!) *Dinner Vibes* - loved helping set the tone and table for two different and lovely Dinner Parties at the beginning and end of summer. Guests mingled in candlelight at with delicious food and wine pairings from 🍽️ special thanks to for the gorgeous white florals, while the green grape and hydrangea centerpieces were put together by yours truly!

To each their own, but I never intend to hurry past the beautiful season of gratitude that is November. Autumn is at its peak moodiness, we celebrate with full hearts, and then just as the leaves wither and the sky greys, then nature itself points to the holiday season. There’s enough hurry in life, let’s soak up November.

True to Ohio, the weather on Ashley + Kyle’s October wedding day was a little mix of everything: from beautiful blue skies to grey mist during the riverside ceremony, to a golden but very chilly sunset. Watching the two of them lean into it together in faith, caring for each other and in general just having the time of their lives, it felt easy to see their love last far into forever. If you needed something uplifting today- join me in wishing these two the happiest first anniversary. I 10/10 recommend modeling your wedding with as much heart as these two, who met while volunteering at an equal opportunity summer camp and decided a full wedding weekend at was the perfect way to honor that. They said “I do” at the camphitheatre, hosted cocktail hour in the corral, rang the dinner bell, and danced under the beautiful artwork of the campers- then topped off the perfect day with sweats and s’mores at the bonfire. I’ll never forget it ❤️ happy anniversary Megan and Josh!

The best part of a wedding? Well, besides leaving the party with a spouse, its having all the people you love in one place. The older I get the more I realize how rare those moments truly are and how beautiful it really is. The greatest gift a planner gives a couple on their wedding day in that moment is the ability to be present. Having peace of mind that everything looks gorgeous, everyone is where they need to be, and someone is there to smooth over any bumps that may arise, means your focus can shift to that most important thing- enjoying the moment with your people. ❤️
