🌸✨ Another sweet wedding memory from our owner Kim during the year of Covid! 🌸✨

Kim, Irene, and Alexis had the pleasure of setting up this beautiful celebration at the charming Chapel and Morton’s in Old Town. They are such fantastic venues, making it easy for guests to stroll from the chapel to Morton’s. The intimate spaces are not only easy to manage but also a dream to decorate!

For this special day, we used our lovely circular arbor, adorned with pink and white blooms and sheer fabric, creating a stunning focal point. Aisle flowers in hanging rental containers added the perfect touch, featuring classic blooms like spray roses, hydrangeas, and eucalyptus.

The reception was timeless, with a gorgeous greenery garland trailing down the center of the table, mixed with candles and loose blooms. This classic design continues to be a popular trend, but we’re seeing a shift towards bud vases becoming more in vogue. Trends may change, but the beauty of these arrangements will always remain!

We truly love working at these venues, especially Morton’s, which holds a special place in our hearts. It’s where Irene worked before joining Bloomwoods, and now Alexis is balancing her time there while studying in college. Fun fact: Alexis and Kim’s son Trace are dating! 💓

Owner and designer Kim Nelson of Bloomwoods Flowers shares her memories of a beautiful wedding that took place during the challenging times of Covid. Kim recalls her initial meeting with Mary Margaret and Donna to discuss the wedding flowers shortly after Bloomwoods expanded its retail space next to Mary Margaret’s boutique, Dear Stella.

Originally scheduled for Mother's Day weekend in 2020, the wedding had to be postponed to November due to the pandemic. The ceremony was held at St. Luke's, followed by a reception at The Big Eddy Club, a venue Kim knew well, having provided their weekly floral arrangements for a decade prior to Covid.

The floral design featured a classic all-white palette, showcasing elegant garden roses, stock, hydrangea, ranunculus, fringe tulips, and larkspur. Kim particularly loved the barely blush bridesmaids' dresses paired with the bride's timeless strapless gown.

Today, Mary Margaret is a proud mom to two adorable little boys and is enjoying every moment of motherhood, having sold her boutique to a new owner. Meanwhile, Ed, the owner of ThreadMob, is flourishing in his industry.

As we step into 2025, we want to take a moment to reflect on the past year and express our heartfelt gratitude to our wonderful community and customers. Your support has made this year one for the record books!

We’re thrilled to share that we achieved more deliveries than ever before, with an abundance of beautiful blooms gracing homes and events throughout the year. Our beloved hydrangeas stole the show as our top-selling flower, especially our fresh hydrangea bowl featuring stunning blue, white, and green blooms. 🌊💙🌿

Our delightful team, the sweetest bunch, has been the backbone of our success. Their unwavering dedication and positivity make every day brighter! Special thanks to my amazing business partner, Irene, whose infectious spirit keeps us all motivated and inspired. 💖

We also saw an increase in online orders, thanks to our fantastic rewards point system that allows you to earn free blooms! 🌷 And let’s not forget our delicious salted caramels and toffee bars that were a massive hit this year!

With a growing demand for our stunning plants and orchids, we can confidently say this has been one of our most successful years yet.
