I am blessed to work with really awesome couples and I always adore these little notes when they come my way. I keep absolutely all of them.

I'm jumping back to September for a few weddings that I missed posting. It's just the kinda thing that happens during the busy season. But Joe and Leeanna were absolutely the kind of people I vibe with. Fun, laid back, and out to have the best time on their wedding day. It was even by their request that we did the "at the alter' selfie! But we laughed and celebrated throughout the ceremony, which culminated in a sand blending ceremony for them and their kids. It was a delight to be a part if their big day.

Behold! Sàndor and Jessyca. They met at the Marine Corps birthday party and basically immediately fell for one another right then and there. So they gathered their immediate family at a cabin in Hocking Hills and I came to help them make things official. We even did a handfasting with military paracord!

Abby and Christian were another lovely couple who just wanted an intimate micro-wedding with a few close friends and family. So I helped get them hitched at the end of October and there was a ton of joy to be had!

This is Vader: handsomest ring dog and very good boy. He brought all the right vibes to Bryn and Brandi's hallowedding with his little skull tux and top hat.

Brandi and Bryn were my Hallowedding this year. On the 31st we celebrated their love with a few friends and family in their back yard. Though it didn't end up in the picture, there was a shotgun placed on top of the wedding arch. (Only as a visual gag. It was a well planned event) May the future smile upon you both, Harrises.

November and December are micro wedding and elopement season! With family coming into town, it can be a convenient time to tie the knot in an intimate way.

Today's micro wedding for Thalia and Gabe took place in the Rotunda of the statehouse and Thalia's father was so overcome with joy he burst out into song. His a capella rendition of the Jewish wedding song "Siman Tov Mazel Tov" absolutely filled the halls of the statehouse. It was amazing.

Ann and Tim! Two wonderful people who accidnetally fell in love over a Caramel Macchiato and ended up becoming extraordinary life partners. I helped them tie the knot (both figuratively AND literally with their cord of 3 strands ceremony) in the middle of October. However, I am bad at social media, so it's just now hitting the presses. :P

In addition to being awesome people, they also had the most exquisite pomegranate apple cider at their reception. I absolutely drank 5 glasses of it, but who is counting?

Ah, Matt and Miranda: two aerospace engineers who fell in love while skipping class, making cookies, and watching Disney films. I performed a lovely ceremony for them at the end of October that had such a fun and chill vibe. They live in Boston, so we had to do all our planning at a distance, but the big day was a blast!

The weekend before Halloween was a busy one, but full of so much joy! Justin and Chandra were a big part of that joy. Well, they and their adorable little ring dog, Pablo. From their first dates (which Chandra didn't know were actually dates) to their yearly trip to Gatlinburg, TN, there was tons to celebrate with these two.

Andrew and Maggie were my last big wedding of October. It was one of the most elegant weddings I've ever been a part of with little nods to art here and there. Even their cake looked like it was inspired by Monet's Water Lilies. (Check out the last picture) Their story was a fun one to tell especially because it included Andrew's power point presentation to convince Maggie to move in with him. So it was beautiful with plenty of space for laughter and joy.

If my rediculous grin in this picture is an indication, boy do I ever have a story to go along with it.

Chloe and Connor called me up at 9pm the night before their grand fairytale Hallo-wedding at Landoll's Mohican Castle. They found themselves in a bit of a pickle after having fired their previous officiant at the rehearsal earlier that evening. I was much more their vibe so they asked if I could step in with my particular brand of humor and storytelling and I enthusiastically accepted the challenge.

So I stayed up late writing their ceremony and about 16 hours later I was performing for their friends and family. It was a truly wild, but wonderful wedding experience. One for the books.

This is my first weekend without a wedding since the beginning of July. So I'm taking a little time to decompress. But! That also means I have so much to share in the coming weeks.

But for now, enjoy me giving a cheeky look at a photobooth.

For my 300th post here on Instagram, I have saved a wedding that was the surely the most fun I've had this fall: Matt and Georgia. It was one of my last weddings in September and we had an absolute blast. They are nerdy gamers, so we meshed incredibly well.

People laughed as I told stories about them meeting at band camp, watching all of Star Wars, and Georgia's mom telling Matt he needed to propose. They cheered as we celebrated their love and we even threw in a little Serbian tradition for some cultural flair. It was such a great time and, dare I toot my own horn, a wonderful performance.

May the world be a wellspring of happiness you two!

Catch up time! (Not to be confused with "ketchup time." That's a very different kind of post.)

But Brandon and Jenna were a lovely couple to work with and you can see their excellent sense of style. That arch was really cool. I have no idea how a bridesmaid was able to make us look weirdly tall and thin in this picture using the same camera I take all of my other pictures with, but my hair looks all huge. It's kinda fun.

Wesley and Gia were my 4th wedding this past weekend and it was one hell of a show to end my run. We had a twilight wedding at the FPC in October and it was as magical as it sounds. They made a unity hourglass together and everyone in the audience had so much fun celebrating a love which centered around gardening, travel, and Gia's heartwarming exuberance. AND! They walked down the aisle to the Jurrasic Park theme song. It was so good!

All the best, you two!

A Bumbl success story at its finest!

Lambert and Kevin were a fun couple to work with and their friends and family were an exquisite audience to perform for. As if the winning smiles on these two was not enough, surely the knowledge that they watched all 40 seasons of Survivor during the pandemic will endear them to your hearts.

It was such a fantastic wedding and they had the best signature cocktails I've ever ever tasted.
