Hotel Sales Coordinator: Must LOVE Hospitality - Event Planning and a BIG Personality a Plus!

Part-Time Position Monday - Friday typically 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM with some weekends. The hours listed are not definite and will be flexible based on need.

Who we are looking for:
The ideal candidate is outgoing, confident, and a team player. This person must have a passion for serving others, and does so by helping guests and companies to achieve their own business and leisure goals. The ideal candidate would demonstrate a history of excellent organizational skills, relationship building, and attention to detail. A minimum of one year hotel experience is preferred, but may be substituted with relevant customer service or hospitality experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Support the Sales team administratively including correspondence, preparing reports and assisting with reservations.

Provide telephone and message support for the department and respond to inquiries in a timely, clear and pleasant manner.

Assist the Sales team with the preparation of contracts, proposals and addendums and track the completion status.

Act as liaison between Sales Managers and clients in Sales Managers' absence.

Take booking inquiry information via phone and prepare proper paperwork.

Coordinate with other departments through verbal and written instructions.

Block group & meeting space specifications and ensure that accurate information is collected and entered in the reservations system.

Communicate with all hotel departments as appropriate. Ensure prompt attention to time sensitive requests by hotel colleagues.

Assists sales and catering team in the preparation of Banquet Event Orders and internally distributes to departments when necessary.

Maintain a professional working environment, appearance, and attitude.

Looking for SPARKLING personalities to help ensure we keep our hotel sparkling.

Room attendant responsibilities include changing towels, making beds and cleaning bathrooms. You will also address clients’ queries and make sure our rooms are fully-stocked, clean and inviting at all times.

Ultimately, you will ensure a pleasant and comfortable experience for our guests during their stay with us.

Essential Functions:
Change bed linen and make beds
Replace used towels
Sweep and mop floors
Vacuum carpets
Dust furniture
Replenish bath care products (e.g. soap and shampoo)
Restock beverages and food items in the mini-bar
Clean public areas, like corridors
Report any technical issues and maintenance needs
Address guests’ queries (e.g. on additional services)
Help guests retrieve lost items
Ensure all assigned rooms are clean and tidy by the end of the shift
Follow hotel security guidelines
Education, Experience, Other Requirements
Required

Flexibility to work in shifts
Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards
Excellent organization skills
Ability to follow instructions
Preferred

High School Diploma
Work experience as a Room Attendant or Maid
Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and products
Good physical health and stamina
