High Line Car House can accommodate 350 guests for a cocktail party with limited seating and up to 300 guests for a seated event with a served meal.

Our team along with our in-house caterer, Together & Company pulled out all the stops and dressed up the High Line for a party fit for a jet-setting one-year-old! ✈️✨
This family hosted a first birthday with us several years ago, and we went all-out on decor for a sailboat-themed party. When they started to plan their next child's first birthday, they reached out, this time with a travel theme in mind.
Take a look at that hot air balloon photo booth 😍 And those custom cookies by Oh Sew Sweet Cookies and Crafts ! The sky was the limit for this party, and our team and vendor partners didn't disappoint!

A versatile space makes for a flexible event setup! Take a peek into this televised panel hosted at High Line last year. After the conversation, guests were able to chat with apps in hand or bring the discussion to our shaded patio.
Hosting a panel in a space like ours is a great draw for attendees and gives guests a conversation piece to kick off conversation - a win-win for everyone!

We are so pleased when German Village couples weave High Line into the fabric of their love stories! Listen to how this couple's pandemic strolls in the park turned into getting married at High Line:
"Our story began with walks around Schiller Park fueled by coffee and chocolate from the German Village Winans Coffee & Chocolate towards the end of the pandemic. What started out as friendly coffee walks to pass the time turned into a love story no one was expecting, including us! We got engaged on the bridge in Schiller Park with coffee in hand and so it just made sense to have our wedding celebration in the area where we fell in love. High Line Car House was the perfect venue - intimate, romantic, accessible, with a staff that made the whole process a breeze. They even let us serve Winan's coffee because it was such a big part of our love story! Thank you for an amazing day!"
