Gus Kenworthy and Dylan Mulvaney have launched their own LGBTQ+ book clubs in partnership with Allstora, an online q***r book marketplace co-founded by RuPaul.

The clubs are part of Allstora's mission to provide a safe, inclusive space for readers, while focusing on the distribution of 2,500 banned books to LGBTQIA+ organisations across the US. This initiative is made possible through The Rainbow Book Bus, a charity that delivers vital texts to communities affected by book bans and censorship.

Dylan Mulvaney’s book club will explore themes of “pop culture, empowerment, and creativity.” Excited about the project, Mulvaney said: “Having a book club was on my vision board for 2024, and I’m thrilled to bring this dream to life with Allstora, a company that champions all voices.”

Meanwhile, Gus Kenworthy’s book club will focus on “visually stunning coffee-table books” that delve into art, fashion, and design. “I love what The Rainbow Book Bus is doing ... I would have loved to have these books when I was growing up. Everyone should have access to books that make them feel seen, loved, and supported.”

These clubs are about more than just reading—they are part of a larger fight for the right to read. Allstora CEO Eric Cervini stated: “We’re not just connecting readers to books; we’re fighting for the right to read them. With the help of these incredible hosts, we’re shining a spotlight on vital stories while standing up to censorship.” 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈

As of today, Colgay Pride which used to be under the Debra Smith Wellness Center well now be the main entity for our agency. For years now we have served as the Debra Smith Wellness Center Inc And this was done in 1. As a tribute to one of our greatest clients who guided people and love them and showed them a better way of life of living with HIV and AIDS and 2. We were supposed to open an agency here in Columbus Georgia through our partnership with CAN Community Health . Due to The Columbus Health department district clinical services division who chose not to allow our agency to provide our citizens out there more, freedom to choose doctors, freedom to have more care and better services by not providing us the Ryan White dollars that were needed to qualify for a significant grant called the 340B Grant a federal grant which mind you has been done in every other state that they have applied except for Georgia. For some reason our health department here thought it was best that we not provide you with better care and services for whatever reason. Their decision in my opinion was selfish and self-centered. But since We are not able to fulfill what the promise was given to the Debra Smith family and to our many clients We have decided to change our name to the entity that has served this community for the past 12 years. From this point forward our agency will Only be known as Colgay Pride Inc.
We're excited about this name change wanted to help alleviate any confusion whenever people are filling out forms for us and are making donations and two but finally honor the work that we have been doing for the past decade by giving the name of the agency that has been doing the work and continuing the legacy of excellence that was first started over 17 years ago as the Chattahoochee valley better way foundation. We thank everyone for their support and love of our agency as we start our new chapter has one entity now instead of two. Thank you everyone We love you and we'll see you all in 2025.
