My heart completely MELTED yesterday🥹❤️

After teaching my last lesson for a wedding couple last night, I packed up my things and left a few minutes after they had gone. As I walked out of the dance studio, I found them practicing their new First Dance steps in the parking lot🥰❤️ MAN, I wish I would have gotten a video because it was SOOO PRECIOUS & totally made my day!!

There will be delicious hors d’ oeuvres, and a lovely, Italian meal, followed by a beginner Cha Cha dance lesson (no experience needed)! Enjoy festive sweet treats after the lesson or keep dancing the nightaway with the new moves you learn. “It was incredible to work with Kiersten for our wedding on our first dance, father/daughter dance, and mother/son dance. She was incredibly kind and patient with us as we learned the basics and made sure we had fun at every lesson! Kiersten put together beautiful, personalized routines for us and helped us feel confident and prepared to perform in front of everyone! Our guests were SO impressed and talked about how wonderful the dances were for weeks after the wedding! Having a choreographed first dance is an investment you will NOT regret and I can’t recommend working with Kiersten enough! She is a talented choreographer and an absolute delight! We will absolutely be back to dance with her again because it was so much fun!”

Often we don’t realize the great depth of a blessing until it’s gone or threatens to be. It’s “common graces” we take for granted - our health, loved ones, daily provisions, even the gift of breath. This state of ingratitude stems from a lack of reflection - forgetting just how blessed we are and dwelling on all the things we don’t have. Even more than that, “thanks” should be given to the correct Giver of the gifts —> God (James 1:17). Everything good comes from God and gifts are undeserved and freely given for our benefit or enjoyment. It would be disappointing if you gave someone a great gift and they never said thank you or showed any kind of appreciation and yet that’s exactly what we do to God when we neglect to give Him due thanks & praise. He’s the one who causes the sun to rise. He’s the one who tends to all creation. He’s the one who gives your very next breath. That is reason enough to be thankful & yet God gives SO MUCH MORE! (John 3:16)!!! So take a moment to reflect, thank Him & maybe even thank someone else in your life that’s blessed you. Gratitude is a beautiful thing & should be practiced more.
