When a couple has children together and decide to get married, I love the opportunity to celebrate with them that the couple is not in this commitment alone- it's a family promise. Today, I was thrilled to perform a wedding where the two young sons were so excited about their part in the Family Blessing and Promise that they told me they had been practicing saying "I promise!" They did a great job during the ceremony, too! It was a beautiful moment for this family. Just another reason why I truly enjoy being able to provide this service for people.
