Thrilled this very Good Guy, was recognized tonight, as a retired police officer volunteer winning the Columbus Police Officer of the Year Spotlight Award from Columbus Police Chief Elaine Bryant to Retired Sargeant Dave Ross, for his tireless work with The Columbus Italian Festival and Piave Club. Sgt. Ross also received recognition from The Piave Club and The City of Columbus House of Representatives.

Other recognition for service awards presented from The Piave Club were awarded to volunteers of The Columbus Italian Festival and or Piave Club: Mara & James, Jennifer Marinello, Guy Williams Jr., Joe Ingrassia, Robin Bruno, Rick Brunetto & Landa Masdea Brunetto.

Is anyone missing a dog in the vicinity of The Valley Dale Ballroom? He has an incredible collar on, which makes us believe it is a guard dog for someone. We believe, he was hit by a car, there is a sever gash in his head and he is limping, here is his photo.

We have just called the dog warden 614-525-3400 if it is your dog, that is where you will find him unless you get to 1590 Sunbury Road in the next 20 minutes. Good Luck!

A fun reminder of past guest artists appearing at Valley Dale Ballroom. Here is a photo of GLENN MILLER in his pajamas agreeing to a morning meeting with OSU Sorority Sisters, preparing for a homecoming event later held at Valley Dale Ballroom. The Glenn Miller band played for Homecoming at OSU Larkins Hall, The Palace Theater and The Valley Dale Ballroom during Columbus, Ohio visits.
