Happy almost one year anniversary Carlos & Yajaira Palacios. I absolutely ℒℴ𝓋ℯ𝒹 this couple and their wedding. They put so much thought into the details of their reception. From their initials on the napkins to customized his and her drinks at the bar to the embroidery center pieces under the flowers on the tables. This wedding was simple and elegant and fun. Last weekend the family of Davis Ranches held their Annual Harvest Dinner with their tenant and consultants. The amazing graze table was done by Farmhouse Infusions! Dinner was catered by Cracchiolo’s Market out of Woodland and we had nothing but compliments for their food. Dessert was pick up in Red Bluff that morning from . Table scapes was provided by Kimber Lane Events and floral done by family members. Lunch for the Saturday meeting was provided by Crave Cafe in Colusa. They did an amazing job taking on their first catering/larger order during their first week of being open. The family loved the sandwiches!

Sneak peek of the two quinceañera shoots held this past month. The girls are keeping their dresses a surprise for family and friends so I won’t post more of their shoots until late this year. But I will tell you the young ladies were breathtaking and their dresses looked so good in the Brick House yard ❤️

One of the family members of Davis Ranches took her engagement photos the other night. and Matt have been together for 9years and I’m so excited that they were able to incorporate the ranch house into their celebration in some way. I cannot wait to see how these photos came out! They are such a fun couple and their pictures are sure to show that along with their love for each other!

It was fun to have Colton with out here too. Love meeting new vendors.

It’s been a little over a month since the first wedding of 2023 and it feels like just yesterday. Happiest first month of marriage to Eddie and Nandita. I loved how they used the row of rose trees as part of their ceremony backdrop, the redwoods as their cocktail hr and had their sweetheart table facing the house. They put their own touch on The Venue and it was just perfect for them! My favorite detail was their guest book that was a board people signed and they could display in their home. I cannot wait to see what the future holds for them as Mr. & Mrs. Renteria🥂❤️

Leslie(𝟤𝗇𝖽 𝗍𝗈 𝗅𝖺𝗌𝗍 𝗉𝗁𝗈𝗍𝗈) reached out to me about hosting the Williams Prom out at 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘝𝘦𝘯𝘶𝘦. I was so excited because it was on my list for next year to accomplish. Unfortunately the rain didn’t allow prom to be held on the lawn area, but the employees of Davis Ranches hustled Friday and Saturday to get the Mural barn cleaned out and lights hung. There were a couple other hiccups throughout the night, but I think ultimately it turned out well considering and the kids seems like they ended up having fun. I’m so ᴇxᴄɪᴛᴇᴅ to see what we can offer in the future with the mural barn!

It’s was all hands on deck as mom, dad and brother where all on site to help when needed. Emma, I hope your party was everything you could have imagined and more!

I am shocked at the difference taking out two Monkey Trees can make! I think the other trees still being in hibernation and no leaves doesn’t help. But the dangerous trees are gone and the Brick House is now center of attention. I’ll add back in another tree to help with some shade, just need to find the right one and the right position. The yard got a facelift with two tree removals and the palm trees being trimmed up. We are event season ready for our first one in two weeks.

This past Easter weekend the family of Davis Ranches held their annual family meeting. They enjoyed a delicious and cozy dinner on the lawn of The Venue area. It turned out just how I imagined it would.

A huge thanks to Larry and the guys for moving tables around so many times for me until it was perfect. Hunter Drake Catering for all of the back and forth with me on the menu and guest count. for the hand-pies dessert and farmer favorites for Saturday morning breakfast. and for making the beautiful spring floral arrangements. K & L Party Rentals out of Yuba for the amazing tent. Without all of their help, my vision for this dinner would have never come to life.

Who would have thought that a completed ADA bathroom would be so exciting! I certainly didn’t! Haha. But it is. This opens up the opportunity to have smaller groups out at The Venue and be able to charge a more reasonable price. Bridal showers, baby showers, birthday parties, company meetings, micro weddings and any other smaller event. Excited for the possibilities and to be growing and expanding The Venue!

Have it staged to show off to the family this weekend at our Annual Family Meeting.

A big congratulations to and Miguel! This beautiful couple, along with their family and friends, braved a chilly November day to celebrate their marriage. I couldn’t have been more excited to host this couple and help them celebrate what is to be a happy and forever marriage. The colors and the decor the bride picked out and did were perfect for a fall wedding and matched beautifully with the brick house and yard. I just wish I had gotten more pictures. Last weekend was the first time since 2019 that Davis Ranches was able to have a Fall Harvest Tenant Dinner and it turned out amazingly. Friday night had a nice turnout of both tenants and family from all over the world. On Saturday family was able to hang out with the staff of Davis Ranches and their families and just get to know everyone better after a long day of attending a Trustees meeting. Looking forward to the Spring Annual Family Meeting and all the activities and dinners for it and hopefully seeing more family members who can attend.

Happy first week of marriage to Mr. & Mrs. Steinhoff. I was beyond excited to host this wedding as I’ve known the bride since she was a very young girl. To watch her walk down the aisle as a beautiful bride and marry the love of her life was so magical. Their ceremony and reception was filled with their personalities as a couple and you could just feel the love in the air from them and their family and friends. A very happy first month of marriage to this beautiful couple! Jeffery and Lindsey had such a heartwarming wedding. From the beautiful ceremony about their commitment to each other to them each sharing something from the heart with their guest. Lindsey’s parents catered and it was the best breakfast food I’ve ever had. It was the first morning wedding and it was so much fun. They even had character drawings for their guest as wedding favors. I think my favorite thing was during setup I heard Jeffery say something along the lines of, “it doesn’t really matter at this point because by 10 tomorrow morning we are going to be husband and wife and that is all that matters.” Loved that and them and their guest and wedding.
