🪿 Conservation Season 🪿 Snow Goose conservation is underway. Texas may have cancelled theirs but many states, including Arkansas and Missouri, have maintained their conservation seasons. This differs from normal goose season as it allows for e-callers, no plugs (extension tubes are encouraged) and a few other differing rules and regulations. Our families version of venison ramen. 🍜
So. Good.
Dylan and I start to crave this when it gets cold and this week it has been on my mind. 😋
If you want to know what I did, here you go:
•slice the venison thin
•sauté a yellow onion
•add minced garlic
•add your venison (or whatever meat you want!)
•season with salt and garlic powder
•add all the veggies you want! (I did bok choy, and mushrooms this time!)
•add broth (I used beef but use venison broth when I have it!)
•add fish sauce, soy sauce, and coco aminos
•let simmer while you cook your ramen noodles!
Honestly, it’s a no fail recipe. It ends up pretty amazing no matter what you do.
Best enjoyed topped with a jammy egg and siracha.
