My sweet Mother Berkley. My fellow Calvary Bible Church member and one of my most vocal supporters has gone home to be with the Lord. I’m deeply saddened by this news. As all the mothers of the church are leaving this earth and going home, although they have gone home to glory, I can’t help but think of all the ways they impacted my life. I love u!

Happy Birthday to my Auntie! The one who taught me how to make the collard greens u all enjoy. She planted me my first stalks just for me when I was 12 yrs old, I harvested them and cooked them for myself because I’d always ask her to make them for me as birthday gifts, so for my 12th bday she planted me my own and taught me exactly how to harvest and cook them, and I been doing it ever since. Happy Heavenly Birthday to my Auntie Delores. You are love and sorely missed.

Last minute dinner for 4 tonight. Charcuterie, spinach and grape salad with goat cheese and candied pecans, lobster and salmon with balsamic glazed squash medley and roasted red potatoes and special request rice pilaf. For dessert they had caramel cheesecake.
