The Handy House of Art and Science A Co-Op art space in the nice part of Vallejo. What does it mean to be a Handy person? It means that you are creative and original. It means that you are Awesome.

It means that you would rather fix something than replace it. It means that you are not wasteful, and realize that everything has a use, even if it is not the use the item was originally intended for. It means that you have a skill to share, and that you are willing to share your knowledge with others. It means that you are willing to improve your skills, and realize that no one is ever done learn

ing. It means that you are not only willing to improve yourself, but your friends and community as well. It means that you are open minded. It means that you respect the Earth.

We had a great time at Laurel Creek Park today with our first Art in the Park of the season! We had enough kids come and paint with us to create a large mosaic board!
What fun!
Keep checking the page to see when we will be hosting the next Art in the Park. It's a great event that we will do more frequently as the weather continues to be more and more beautiful.
We show up with all the supplies for children of all ages to express themselves creatively and they can create beautiful works of art for free!
Parents are also welcome to create along with their children!
Everyone needs a creative outlet and we love to be able to help foster that creativity in everyone!

Tonight! We're having the first of our weekly Wednesday Night Nerd-Outs at 7:30 PM over at The Handy House of Art and Science! So come on by, bring a bag of dice and some Magic cards as we get our nerd on! Don't have dice or cards? Don't worry, we've got some to spare. Tonight, we will be playtesting the newest edition of D&D, "D&D Next" to see how it stacks up to other current pen & paper games. We've gotta pay the rent so there is a $2 cover to get in, and we've got delicious Honey Apple Cider and Mango Mead inside! Come on by!
