Nancy Akins has been involved in the golf industry and event planning over a span of 30 years on both sides of the tee. Her career as an experienced tournament player includes collegiate pl
ay and coaching at Troy State University (NCAA Division II Champions), Top 10 Georgia Amateur, and former EWGA Member. On the management side, her experience includes an Assistant Pro at Troy State University, and golf course General Manager with Billy Casper Golf Management Company. Each phase of Nancy’s journey has taught her much about life which she is excited to pass on to everyone she comes in contact with. She puts her skills and experience to use as she teaches and leads with inspiration and enthusiasm, offering customized instruction, clinics, camps and tournaments. Over the years, Nancy’s visionary leadership has proven to be profitable for many companies and non-profits as a consultant and coordinator of fundraisers, golf tournaments and other special events. Eagle Tee Golf believes that as we teach and train our students in golf, that we are teaching the child how to develop and maintain their inner core values which will stay with them throughout life. There is great value of being part of a sport that teaches self-discipline, decision-making, leadership, competitive skills and ‘follow through’. Gentle guidance in these character traits along with instruction in proper stance, position, and alignment, train golfers both in golf as well as in life.
