Its hard to believe, but today we started down the home stretch for the class of 2025. If you are a senior in the class of 2025 or the parent of a senior, I would love to talk to you about senior photos. I had the great pleasure of capturing a beautiful wedding for Tony and Danni. It was my first time shooting a wedding at the new barn at Frank Liske Park and it's a great location. Doing weddings are always so much fun when you get to be friends with the couple in the process. It's impossible to pick a handful of photos out of the hundreds taken but these are some of my favorites.

Senior Sunday and it was great meeting up for senior photos with Hickory Grove senior Brady Johnson. He will be pitching at East Tennessee State next year and doing big things in the classroom as well. Thanks to his mom, Allison, for the opportunity!

What a great experience hanging out with Cayden Smith for his senior pics. Of course we spent most of our time on the court and had to include the state championship rings in the mix. Big thanks to Cayden and his parents for the opportunity!

Tough loss for our Vikings last night at NW. Last night's game had a number of penalties so not a whole lot of pictures. As a reminder, because of the devastation in Western NC, the season got extended by one week so our Vikings will conclude the season Thursday at Hickory Ridge. Go Vikes!

Because of my commitments to sports, families and seniors, I don't have time to do a lot of weddings. When I do its always super special and such an honor to capture such a huge life event. Andrew & Destany's big day was a blast, and I really appreciate the opportunity to capture it.

Had a great session with Hickory Ridge senior Aubrey Hutchins catching the last of the sunflowers before the weather changed. It is totally obvious that the camera loves her, and Anderson is getting a great soccer player to boot. It was just a couple of years ago that I was doing senior photos of her sister as well. Many thanks to Aubrey and her mom, Mindy, for giving me the opportunity.

Lots of first day of school photos today. I will add to the mix with this first senior of the class of 2025. I have taken tons of cheer photos of Nicole over the last 3 years but none that I enjoyed more than her senior photos. Always smiling and always positive, she will do great things in the future, and I am so happy she and her mom, Sonya, gave me the opportunity. Seniors and parents of seniors in the class of 2025, it's time to start thinking about senior photos. I love all types of photography, but senior photography holds a special place for me. One of the most common questions I get is "When should I book?" If you are considering having senior photos made in the fall, I recommend booking in July to secure the most sought-after dates in October and early November. Two of the Saturdays in October and one Saturday in November are already booked with weddings and seniors so if fall is in your plans, I encourage you to book soon. Additionally, if you are unsure about what you are looking for in senior photos or would like to meet up and discuss your ideas, I am happy to do so. I know you have other options for photographers, so I appreciate being considered.

Each year its always bittersweet to do this post. As the school year ends and we look forward to summer and the Class of 25 getting their time, we have to say Happy Graduation to the Class of 24.

As I have said before, I would put my senior class up against any. Each of these young men and women made my job easy and I sincerely appreciate the opportunity to do their senior photos. Graduation fun this week and a bright future ahead for each of them.

As Central Cabarrus has had its historic run over the last few years in basketball, I have been fortunate to do senior photos for a number of the departing seniors from the team. It was great to get to do senior photos for Noah Edmisten and add him to that group. Multiple state championship rings is a pretty significant high school memory as he graduates this week. Rain kept us inside during this shoot, but we still got lots of great basketball and interior shots. Thanks to him and his mom, Heather, for the opportunity.

It's really cool the way some things just naturally line up. I shot senior photos for Nevaeh Ledbetter earlier this spring as she prepares to graduate from Bradford Prep. Shortly after we got those done, her mom, Shellye, asked me about doing some photos for her as well. She is graduating from nursing school and starting work in the Cardiovascular ICU unit at the hospital. How awesome is that.

This is the second time I have done a parent and their child graduating different levels at the same time and I think its such a great memory. And, of course, we had to have Nevaeh come get in a few pictures with her mom as well.
