Concordia Broadway Plaza The Broadway Plaza is the City of Concordia's premier outdoor public event space. A gateway to Concordia's downtown shopping and entertainment district.

In 2014 the Concordia City Commision purchased five empty lots a the corner of 6th and Broadway Streets. Their vision was to create a downtown public space that would increase business sales and fill empty storefronts. Now here we are with a number of new businesses and an incredible new enhancement to our downtown. With the residents in mind, they helped determine the components that would matter

the most in a public space. They designed a wonderful gathering spot with the intention of promoting one's health, happiness, and well being. Features include: Performance stage, 20 x 12 foot LED Screen, fully-automated zero-depth splash pad, & a concessions building that houses public restrooms which are open 24/7. The Broadway Plaza would not have been possible without the TIF funds or the support of our generous donors:

Are you on the fence about attending the Hypnotist show at the Broadway Plaza this Saturday, June 21st @ 7:00p.m.? Don’t be! It will be FREE, great family entertainment! The evening is BYOB & lawn chair!
There will also be a drawing for $100 in Concordia Chamber Bucks! Must be present to win!
Chris and Sarah Santos, The Kawali food trailer,
will also be there with their delicious Filipino inspired food!

Coming Saturday, June 21st, 2025 @ 7:00p.m.! Hypnotist William Mitchell!!! You don't have to volunteer, but come to see the entertainment that others can provide under hypnosis!! Please watch the entire video! It's going to be quite the entertaining evening! The Kawali Food Truck will be there from 6p.m.-? and Hypnotist William Mitchell will start at 7:00p.m. sharp!
