Concordia Broadway Plaza

Concordia Broadway Plaza The Broadway Plaza is the City of Concordia's premier outdoor public event space. A gateway to Concordia's downtown shopping and entertainment district.

In 2014 the Concordia City Commision purchased five empty lots a the corner of 6th and Broadway Streets. Their vision was to create a downtown public space that would increase business sales and fill empty storefronts. Now here we are with a number of new businesses and an incredible new enhancement to our downtown. With the residents in mind, they helped determine the components that would matter

the most in a public space. They designed a wonderful gathering spot with the intention of promoting one's health, happiness, and well being. Features include: Performance stage, 20 x 12 foot LED Screen, fully-automated zero-depth splash pad, & a concessions building that houses public restrooms which are open 24/7. The Broadway Plaza would not have been possible without the TIF funds or the support of our generous donors:

Santa's Elves have started picking up the letters from the mailbox at the Plaza. Santa would like me to remind you to please put your return address on the letter or envelope so that it's easier for him to write back to you! The Elves will be picking up letters until Tuesday, December 17th at 5:00p.m.

There has been a change of events for the Broadway Plaza, we will not be able to have the Live Nativity, but Santa will be there to collect Christmas Wish List and visit with the Kiddos! Santa will be at the Plaza from 9:00am to 2:00pm! We will also have a Teddy Bear give away for the first 50 people to the Plaza. Hope to see everyone out and about for Deck The Halls 2024.

We are pleased to introduce to you the new Executive Director of CloudCorp, Tim Beims. Tim, along with his family, have chosen to make Concordia their home since June of 2000. We will be hosting an Open House / Meet-and-Greet with Tim on Wednesday, October 9th from 9a.m. to 12:00p.m. Be sure to stop by the CloudCorp office located at 606 Washington Street in Concordia to meet Tim.
