✨BIG ANNOUNCEMENT TIME✨
Hey guys, I decided it was finally time for an introduction post (only took a year and half😅)& what better time than to also announce my new branding for my business!
Hi, I’m Merrett, owner & lead planner at Huddleston Events🤍 (formerly MH Weddings & Events).
I’m a wife to an amazing man who I’ve been with for 15 almost years 😅 and we celebrate 5 years married this October.
A mom to my adorable, nearly feral, almost 2 year old, blonde haired & blue eyed little girl.
I just hit 5 years working my 9-5 for a Surveyor at a Civil Engineering firm (that I really enjoy).
I love Jesus, animals, Texas country, Taylor swift, working out & volleyball .
I took a leap of faith in January 2023 and started this business as a passion project. A year later, decided it was time to change things up a bit, so new name & brand is now live!
I’ve been so blessed with the couples I’ve worked with so far who have become friends love following their lives after the wedding day🤍

I’ve always had a passion and strength for planning events, parties, trips, etc but I realized during my own wedding planning journey just how valuable a wedding coordinator/planner is to a bride and groom. Someone who knows the industry and who will be your biggest cheerleader, in your corner every step of the way and there to help navigate the uncomfortable, unplanned & sometimes unfortunate situations that can arise during wedding planning and on your wedding day.
Couples and families shouldn’t have to worry about the nitty gritty details or anything wild that may pop up on the day of, that’s what I’m there for 😊
So even if the cake lady gets lost, dj is running late or it suddenly starts to downpour 20 minutes before walking down the aisle, I’m there for you so you can enjoy your day & I handle those things and you’re never the wiser 😚
