Lazarus, the saddest German Shepherd in the shelter, is waiting for his final day, shutdown and set to die! He has been suffering in silence, locked away in a cold, lonely cage.

His once noble spirit is crushed under the harsh conditions of shelter life. Lazarus knows he is not wanted, and his time is running out. This sweet, loyal dog doesn't deserve a fate like this. A high-kill shelter like this means his days are numbered, and he's on high alert to be euthanized.

Lazarus is scared, alone, and facing a death sentence he can't understand. Every day that passes brings him closer to the end, and without your help, Lazarus will be gone tomorrow. He doesn’t deserve to die just because he’s scared and alone. Don't let him suffer a lonely, undeserved fate!

We have Winter on our minds here at the shelter, not the season, the cat! Winter is an 8-month-old DSH that was surrendered along with his brother, Little Bear, because their owner was moving and unable to take them along. He is an INDOOR cat that can be a little shy at first, but once he warms up, he is playful & friendly. He is good with children, good with cats, and litterbox trained. He has been neutered, vaccinated, FELV/FIV tested negative, and microchipped here at the MCSPCA. Please stop into our Perkiomenville shelter located @ 1059 Sweisford Rd. Apple is a 3 month old female german shepherd who weighs 16 pounds. This cute puppy was rescued from horrible conditions where she was unwanted and left to die. We have promised her nothing but the best, and she is loving her new life. Apple is a sweet pup who enjoys the company of other dogs and did grow up around kids. Dice was originally surrendered to the shelter a few years ago because her owners had to move. She was said to be friendly with adults and children, used her litterbox well, loved playing with toys, and lived with a dog.
We spayed, microchipped, updated her on vaccinations, and adopted her into a new home, but unfortunately she was dropped off at another shelter (who then got her back to us) because they could not/would not continue to care for her. They didn’t give much info about what she was like while they had her. You can apply to adopt Dice on our website or visit her at our Conshohocken location.
