A day like yesterday really fills my heart with so much love and makes me step back and appreciate how blessed I am to be able to work a job that not only do I have a burning passion for, I get to take on this adventure with my favorite person in this world (my husband), but also that helps a truly amazing couple have the wedding of their dreams come to life. The pure love and happiness I see from couples enjoying their big day and all of the raw emotions bursting out of everyone really does fill my cup so full and truly makes all of the hard work so worth it! ❤️
This photo captures my absolute favorite part of the entire day, the calm before the guests start arriving. The moment right before the officiant and the groom start walking down and the grooms filled with nerves and excitement, the groomsmen are getting pumped to support their friend while also trying to keep in their emotions because "men" (lol), where the bride is hidden away with all of her closest girls hyping her up and calming her nerves all while they know what a special moment this is for them to have with their loved one, where a dad is mustering up the courage to hand off his baby to another man while also fighting back tears, a moment where the mothers are trying to pick themselves back up after such an emotional and busy morning, a moment where the father of the groom is realizing that this is also such a huge moment for him as their relationship will now start to change, a moment where I can just stand and take in the beauty of the day, I can take a breather after running around for hours or sometimes days on end, and just appreciate the blessings the good lord has given us. ☀️ This moment right here captured in this picture, is truly so many beautiful moments all wrapped up in one, I could go on for days 😌
To all the brides and grooms who have entrusted me in playing a role in your weddings, I truly cannot thank you enough. 🥹
