All came together so lovely!🤍

So grateful I was a part of my friend’s baby shower & for given the creative freedom to come up with these balloon arrangements! I put a lot of love into every arrangement & order! This one literally displays so much of that!🥹🫶🤗

🩷Balloon Garland attached to Metal Hoop Backdrop, with personalized “alphabet cards” & children’s book pages & nursery songs as intertwining paper garland. Faux baby’s breath were used as well

📜Fun Hack: Dipping paper into brewed coffee or tea definitely gives such a cool vintage, I crinkled them up a bit & ripped some pages, to give a more “used book” look as well

🟣🟡From Purple & Gold, to Green & Gold🟢🟡
What an honor to display our Balloon Arrangements throughout the new Whittemore Park Middle School to celebrate the Ribbon Cutting! It was also a reveal of the Legacy Room that pays homage to those who came before & the historical periods the original school withstood!

💜By the entrance of the new school, the Legacy Room is where we displayed a Balloon Garland of Purples & Gold Balloons to highlight the original school colors & the history of Whittemore Schools!
•Whittemore Schools were the flagship school for African Americans in Horry County during the time of segregation. For many years, it was the only African American high school in the county, and families from across the county made sacrifices for their children to be able to attend Whittemore.
In the 1930s, Whittemore became the first African American high school in the county to be certified by the state of South Carolina, and it remained the only one until 1949.

💚Next up, we created the Spiral Balloon Garland , which intertwined the original school colors & Conway High’s Green. This represents the importance of Whittemore High & Conway High coming together as one in unity.
•In 1968, Conway High and Whittemore High (the city’s African-American high school) merged following desegregation. They elected to keep Whittemore’s gold & Conway’s Green make the new colors of present-day Conway High School.

💛Further down the hallway, Balloon Columns & Helium Balloons were located in the Auditorium & Cafeteria, where everyone gathered and celebrated the Ribbon Cutting for the new Whittemore Park Middle School & location!

✨I attended Whittemore Park Middle School and Conway High School! I was so proud & amazed to see the history of my alma mater! They definitely deserve this school, & I know the legacy & history of Whittemore will never be forgotten! It’s an honor to be a part of this special day! & I am & forever will be a proud fellow Tiger!✨
