Cook Job Responsibilities:
• Follow recipes, including measuring and mixing ingredients
• Bake, grill, steam and boil meats, vegetables, etc.
• Measure and count portion sizes accurately and efficiently
• Clean, cut, and store fresh vegetables and fruit
• Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures
• Ensure that food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized at the end of your shift
• Ensure food is stored away properly when not in use
Cook Qualifications / Skills:
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills
• Able to read and follow standardized recipes
• Strong knowledge of proper food handling procedures
• Familiar with general kitchen equipment and appliances
• Able to follow instructions accurately and efficiently
• Able to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Physically able to stand and move around for long periods of time
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Ability to work well with others as a part of a team
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Must pass a background check
• ServeSafe certification preferred
Hours Required: 6:00am-1:00pm M-F
Pay / Benefits: Based on experience with paid time off available
