Want to trade your gently used puzzle or game for a different one? The C**n Rapids Recycling Center is organizing a puzzle and game swap! The event will take place Saturday, Feb. 8 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the C**n Rapids Civic Center.

Puzzles and games will be collected from Tuesday, Jan. 21 through Friday, Feb. 7 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Inspections Department counter at City Hall (enter through the Police Department doors). They will also be accepted on the day of the swap. Residents will receive one token for each item dropped off which can be used at the swap on Feb. 8.

Donations are needed to make the sale a success:
◾ Christmas decorations
◾ Jewelry
◾ Books
◾ New or gently used items
◾ No clothing, shoes, electronics, plants or furniture please!
◾ We cannot accept items that are broken, dirty, have missing parts or have been boxed up for decades.

Bring your donations to the C**n Rapids Senior Center on:
◾ Tuesday, Nov. 12 from 10 a.m. to Noon
◾ Wednesday, Nov. 13 from 10 a.m. to Noon
◾ Thursday, Nov. 14 from 10 a.m. to Noon
◾ Friday, Nov. 15 from 10 a.m. to Noon

Volunteers will be available to help move boxes into the building ONLY during these hours. Please do not drop off your donations on any other date or time as they will be subject to weather conditions and will not be secure.

- Viewing areas are available on the grounds of the C**n Rapids Ice Center (11000 Crooked Lake Blvd) and at Anoka-Ramsey Community College (Mississippi Blvd & 111th Ave).
- Please be patient! Thousands of people attend the fireworks display. Follow all traffic control officers and expect departure to require extra time.
