The World Dance Summer Intensive program focuses on preparing young dancers for the work of the future pushing them mentally, physically, and emotionally and creating bonds th

at last a lifetime! WDSI fosters an appreciation of Miami’s rich cultural tapestry and the common thread of humanity that binds us all as one community. This program is an opportunity for young dancers with previous dance training to acquire new technical skills and expand their understanding of dance as a well-rounded and culturally diverse art form. Students will work closely with professional instructors from Miami who are affiliated with the nation’s most renowned arts institutions. Classes include: Ballet, Modern Dance, Jazz, Contemporary, Afro Haitian and West African with teachers from Dance NOW! Miami, as well as DNM partners Tradisiyon Lakou Lakay Haitian Dance Company and Delou Africa Dance Ensemble. FREE LUNCH WILL BE PROVIDED AS PART OF THIS PROGRAM

After a short tour from the airport to the Hotel, with a short stop at a lovely panorarma site with the super professional driver/tour guide Ryan, I am now at the Queen’s Hall looking forward to today’s Garth Fagan Dance performance at the Coco Festival.

After the past two days of torrential rain... I thought it would appropriate to remember.
