What do you love about wedding photography?

My favorite thing about photographing a couple’s wedding is capturing an emotional rollercoaster in real-time. From first looks to first dances, I love witnessing your moment and turning it into art.

What is your advice to couples on their special day?

My biggest piece of advice would be to focus on each other. My job is to capture your love on camera, and my favorite way to do that is really seeing a couple in love — candidly!

This is why all of our packages at 2nd & Main give you far more than a day in the venue. Instead, you between 30 to 48 hours to settle in, relax, and plan. That is right -- you will have 2 to 3 days to prepare, decorate, and celebrate. And with packages starting at $2,499, we still charge less than the places that rush you out in 12 hours.

We are excited to spotlight some of the great photographers who have shot weddings here at 2nd & Main! We are starting off by highlighting Keshia Amburgey Photography and showing off some of her photos.

Keshia has photographed two weddings at 2nd & Main: the wedding of Lauren & Caleb in 2019, and the wedding of Samantha & Isaiah in 2022.

We caught up with her to find out more about her passion for wedding photography. Read on to learn more:

Why do I love photographing weddings?
Wedding days to me are filled with so much joy, excitement and happiness. It’s truly the most beautiful day of that couples life. I’m blessed to be able to witness and capture those moments and allow that couple to look back on those memories and relive that moment in time. Weddings are so important to me and I bring an extremely talented team of photographers with me that will capture every single moment of your most special day.

Your best wedding day advice?
I tell all of my bride and grooms to ENJOY this day. Don’t stress if the dress gets dirty (because it’s going to). Dance it off and have fun. Be carefree and ENJOY this beautiful day!
