Over 170 pecan trees create the perfect backdrop for your celebration. There are a plethora of locations for your perfect wedding location. Afterwards, celebrate inside the air conditioned main barn, or under the lights of the pavilion. Enjoy the swings surrounding the firepit or just enjoy the breathtaking grounds. Always a pleasure to have the folks from Home Depot at the farm having their company Christmas party last evening. They enjoyed live music and great food and some lucky employees left with some great door prizes. Have a wonderful Christmas everyone!

We had a great time yesterday with a semi-surprise party for my sister-in-law, Brandye. She’s having a milestone birthday in a few days. I won’t say which one, but It begins with a “5” and ends with a “0”. (If you figure it out , don’t tell her I told you !) Love you, Brandye Hunt Spradley. Thanks for being my SIL. I had the honor of having my family at the farm yesterday to celebrate my Uncle Carlos “Carlie” Calhoun’s 90th birthday. To tell you it was a great day is a huge understatement. It was a surprise party and as you can see by the look on his face when his brother, Leon opened the door for him and he saw everyone, he was a happy man. We ate wonderful BBQ from Smoakies (thanks, Steve) and had cake and ice cream. He spent an hour opening gifts and everyone wanted a picture with Uncle Carlie. It was wonderful. Thanks to everyone who traveled to celebrate with us. The quote of the day was when he said, “I want to live 90 more years!” He just might make it!

It’s always a pleasure to have the great team at Colony Bank at the farm. Tonight they had their Customer Appreciation dinner with live music and a delicious seafood dinner. I saw lots of smiling faces and I’m sure people left with full tummies.

Our Story

Located in Cordele GA, Fritz Farm is the perfect venue for your wedding or special event. Over 200 pecan trees create the perfect backdrop for your celebration. Whether you prefer the orchards, the lake or the lighted open air pole barn for your wedding, we have numerous locations for the ideal setting. The property has three barns, the larger of which features a full kitchen and bar area and seating for up to 150 guests. The heated and air conditioned main barn offers a covered pavilion that houses an outside bar, patio and restroom facilities. Our beautifully appointed bungalow and loft areas are available for overnight stays and preparing for your special day. A large firepit surrounded by swings is a gathering spot for all ages.
