y from Lavonia, a small town in Northeast Georgia. She began working at Chick-fil-A in college and fell in love with the culture and business. After earning her degree in Dietetics with plans of medical school, she decided to pursue Chick-fil-A as a career instead. She worked at the Home Office in Atlanta and with an Operator in Athens, Georgia. It was a dream come true to have the opportunity to operate the location in Cordele, Georgia. She enjoys coaching and developing young people to pursue their dreams. MeriBeth's husband, Jess, who she met while attending the University of Georgia, is originally from this area. He works on the Jamspread, the family farm, as the 7th generation. They grow corn, cotton, peanuts, green beans, wheat, and soybeans. They welcomed their first-born son in January of 2015 and are expecting their second November of 2016.
