Quick practice wreath today (using up some dried colourful bits I had - so not particularly festive - yet!) before we commence the start of the ‘workshops’ tomorrow! Third day of my Masters and getting creative! All very inspiring so far with and incredible Master Tutor, Tina Parkes. Slight brain overload already but a great week so far with a fabulous group of other, also very inspiring, students. It is certainly going to be a challenging couple of years - taking our base skills from previous levels and elevating, elevating and more elevating! If you love floristry and want to either start from scratch or push your skills further then The British Academy of Floral Art is certainly the best place to learn. Love it !

Spending a few days walking and beaching in amazing north Cornwall with my gorgeous Beatrice! I think we got our sunshine timing right! Trevone, Harlyn and Boobys beaches, oh and some filming by the BBC of a new production of Mallory Towers. (Intrigued as to how they blur out all the surfboards and swimmers in the background!). Just a little sidetracked from my gardening chores 😂. Quick wreath made with all the garden clippings (creating a ringless base) and a few flowers from the garden. Not sure how much longer these flowers will continue flowering in the garden as although the leaves are well and truly falling and it feels very autumnal - it was still a toasty 26*C today. A very satisfying afternoon and all under the watchful eye of my faithful four legged friends 🐾 (can you spot Tilly…?!) Thanks to @_jameswatt_ and his brilliant photographer skills and playing around with his new super duper camera!
