Maybe sci-fi or horror are your choice of films to watch at the Iowa Nebraska Heartland Film Festival on Friday & Saturday. Check these short films out:

🤜 Freakin' Weekend is 6 minutes long and is about a horror movie spoof about a couple trying to decide what to do for the weekend.

🤜 The Entomologists' Wife is 12 minutes longs. This film follows one man's desperate attempt to save his wife through their study of moths and is heavily inspired by German expressionist films, like "The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari," "Nosferatu," and "Metropolis."

🤜 Bones & Shadows is 4 minutes long. A cinematic presentation of visual poetry that was previously published in comic book form. It's a glimpse of a reality that we both embrace and fear.

History comes alive at our Iowa Nebraska Heartland Film Festival on Friday and Saturday 7 & 8 of March.

👉Come hear the moving story about the navy ship and the 74 lost sailors in 1969 in the film Seventy-four!

👉Coming Home is powerful story about a grieving father and a detective cope with a ten year missing person's case.

👉500 years of friendship is about men from Iran who found solace and strength in each other’s company as they navigated both the political strife of the Iranian Revolution and the Iran Hostage Crisis as well as the typical challenges of college life while studying at the University of Nebraska as foreign students.

Auditions for a short comedy "Door Bang" about Beamer whose car is hit by Mr. Ford in a grocery store parking lot. Soon after the store employee bangs the cart into the car. In come the police and store manager in this hilarious comedy!

Some inspiration at the Iowa Nebraska Heartland Film Festival...Outside the Lines is about a bus driver by day and an artist by night who lives in Omaha and My Heart Remembers is based on a Christian novel by Kim Vogel Sawyer. Don't delay get your film festival tickets for Friday and Saturday!

Hey, Just thought I would remind you we make ticketing easy. Our online ticketing company is Ludus. You can find ticket links on our website and flyers and QR codes. When the price says it is $25 that INCLUDES the taxes, credit card fees and ticketing fees! Isn't that a nice feature!?

We do add on a building maintenance fee to each order. This grand old lady is always in need of help! This week a toilet was leaking, and the hot water was not flowing in the kitchen sinks!
