Another busy day at The Center. We started the day early and hosted a corporate party for an area business with some wonderful employees and great families. They had a great time.

Ended the day with a class reunion. It was my graduation year but a different school but still saw some old friends from the past.

Thanks to my wonderful staff so working your tails off this week. You are the best

Tonight we have a company party. They are a great group.

The set up and food is almost ready for tomorrow’s group. We’ll call it a night and finish up tomorrow. Tomorrows group is having a Thanksgiving luncheon complete with a winter soup, Turkey, stuffing , mashed potatoes with gravy, Squash, Rolls and homemade Pumpkin Pie for dessert.

Ever wonder how many dishes lunch for 65 people makes ? This many. When you’re a small family run business you set up the room , make the food , serve the food and then clean- up begins. Maureen will have these dishes done - well in a few hours. 😃. But she will get them done. 😀

A look behind the scenes. We’re getting ready for three different parties. What a phenomenal staff we are blessed with. Gail is making homemade biscuits for tomorrow. Diane is making pasta salad. Sean and Maureen have 200 charcuterie cups to make. I’m making 100 wraps. We as busy as beavers but we all love what we do.

I love this time of year. Fresh vegetables are available locally. I love to find new recipes and then make them my own. This is dinner tonight. Chicken stuffed with fresh asparagus and fresh mozzarella from The Woodhull Cheese factory (Golden Age Cheese Company) My Dad always went up and got fresh curd every week so I love going there as not only do they have great cheese it brings back memories of my Dad.
