Big Fish Fest II returns on Sept. 5 at PRAx! In partnership with the OSU Big Fish Lab, we are beyond excited to bring back our shark dissection accompanied by live music and new surprises!

Calling all students: Dive into your creativity with a specialty class this fall!

In a world where it can be challenging to generate your creativity, find your creative voice, or even know what creativity looks like as a practice and habit, the Art 199 course helps you explore and expand your mind.

The class is open to students from all backgrounds and disciplines! Through conversations and hands-on โ€œdoing,โ€ you will explore the creative process with a diverse team of OSU artists, scholars, and researchers. You'll learn how they locate inspiration, pose questions, investigate and interpret the world around them to form their art, and ultimately present their work for audiences.

Only at PRAx can you participate in a wood chip drive and take home a piece of our art exhibition with you! ๐ŸŒฒ

As we say goodbye to the artist collective Futurefarmers during their time in residence, the artists hope that the environmental propositions from the exhibition Silicon Forest can continue to live in the Corvallis community! Please join us in this giveaway of wood chips from the felled trees of one of OSUโ€™s research forests.

Youโ€™re welcome to as many of the wood chips as youโ€™d like, but you must be able to contain and transport them yourself. Bring your favorite box, bucket, or wheelbarrow! Chips remaining at 1 p.m. will be donated to OSU Campus grounds, but we hope some find loving homes in your landscapes first.

We're proud to partner with the Corvallis Folklore Society to bring Irish trio Open The Door For Three to PRAx on July 25 at 7 p.m. in Detrick Hall.

Good friends meet great musicians as the trio includes the fiddle, the uilleann pipes (aka the Irish pipes and the national bagpipes of Ireland), and the bouzouki, a Southeast European stringed instrument in the lute family.

Be prepared to experience unique instruments and enjoy energetic tunes โ€” the perfect backdrop for your summer vibes!
