Currently on an eight-show sellout streak (and now it looks like 9!), California’s premier combat sports event, Fight Club OC, returns to The Hangar at the OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa on Thursday, August 25, with the most highly-anticipated debut in women’s boxing since Claressa Shields’s first bout, as 10-time National champion Jesikah Guerra faces Seta Vatuvei in a featured four-round matchup at 154 pounds.
The card will air live on Fite TV, beginning at 7:00pm PT.
Besides this female matchup, the August 25th show is a stacked card with big-time prospect Tito Mercado looking to stay undefeated at 6-0 and Sonny Robledo will also look to stay undefeated at 4-0 when he meets Orange County’s Darynn Leyva.

A new fight series is coming to San Bernardino in 2022 and its promoter has some great city memories. Orange County based fight promoter Roy Englebrecht announced today a four date fight series branded Fight Club IE will be coming to the Club Center Events venue with Opening Night set for Saturday, March 12th.
Englebrecht is no stranger to the city as he and Mark Harmon brought the San Bernardino Spirit and minor league baseball to Fiscalini Field in 1987 and shocked the baseball world by setting a Cal League attendance record in its first season.
Now Englebrecht is hoping for the same success with exciting Muay Thai action in the 1,000-seat venue located on Club Center Drive off the 10 Freeway at Waterman. Four 2022 shows, all on Saturday evenings, are set for March 12th, June 11th, August 24th, and December 10th.
“It feels great to be returning to San Bernardino, as the city holds a special place for me in my sports business,” said Englebrecht. “The community welcomed our new baseball team in 1987 with night after night of sellout crowds, and who can forget our second season when an 18 year old left handed center fielder named Ken Griffey Jr tore up Fiscalini Field and won the hearts of our fans.”
Fight Club IE shows will feature 10 bouts showcasing some of the best young amateur Muay Thai fighters, not only from the Inland Empire, but all of Southern California and all seats 2nd row and back will be reserved and sell for $50 with front row at $75 and MAT seats at $150.

With Covid-19 regulations, causing people to now show a vax card or a covid negative test, putting a stop to indoor events over 1,000 people we decided that it was time that we go outdoors and let fans experience an outdoor Fight Club OC show under the stars. So the September 23rd and October 14th show will be outdoor shows until things cool down in the world of Covid-19.
The Main Mall Area of the OC Fair & Event Center, right outside The Hangar doors, will be converted to a Fight Club OC combative sports arena with over 1,500 excited fight fans treated to an explosive six bout pro boxing and pro mma show that only Fight Club OC can deliver. With an extra 300+ seats now available in the new outdoor arena, more tickets priced at $60.00 to this Sept 23rd show are now available online at http://socafights.com.
The doors to the Main Mall Area will open at 6pm with all the action getting underway at 7:05pm. Baja Blues Happy Hour will continue starting at 5:30pm.
