After a year off due to COVID-19, we are back!! Nothing is going to make you feel better after a year off than a nice stroll in the woods. Come everyone and enjoy a nice relaxing walk and get reacquainted with nature and all the creatures in the Bookaty Haunted Forest. What could possibly go wrong? Come and see this amazing FREE maze and see if you have what it takes to survive.

We will be open Saturday October 30th & Sunday October 31st from 6:30 - 9:00pm. We will be collecting canned / boxed food for The Second Harvest Food Bank again this year and we want to beat our record of 600 lbs. from last year. We cannot do this without your help. So, get your friends, family, neighbors and anybody else that loves Halloween and head over for a good scare and a lot of fun. Best of all it is FREE!!

Even though we could not have The Bookaty Haunted Shack this year due to COVID-19. We thought it would be fun to look back at the last four years. This video was done by my son Noah and the soundtrack was done by my nephew Giovanni. I look forward to next year and the return of The Bookaty Haunted Shack.

Hello Followers of The BOOkaty Haunted Shack,

It is with a very heavy heart that we have decided that we will not be have a haunt this year. Due to COVID-19 restriction and not knowing of a way to insure everyone’s safety we felt it would be best to cancel the event.

We will be showing videos from some of our haunts and handing out candy on Halloween, so please come by and say hi. It would be a great opportunity to meet the cast and for us to meet you and share stories. We will all be in masks and practicing social distancing so please come by and see us.

Even though we are not having our haunt, we are still trying to collect food for the Second Harvest Food Bank. Please bring canned or boxed food and we will continue our tradition of helping to feed the hungry in Orange County. This year is probably the most important year ever.

We assure you that we will be back next Halloween, we appreciate all the support that you have given to our haunt for all these years.

Halloween 2019 was a huge success!! We collect well over 1000 lbs of food and that is all because of you all, so Thank You!!!! Of course, I could not do any of this with help from a lot people. So, a massive thank you to my wife Monica, Tyrone, Noah, Ben, Mom, Brad, Giovanni, Ron, Tina, Austin, Kate, McKendree, Ian, Monica G, Ainoah, Max and Charlotte.
Now it is time to start planning for next years haunt so stay tuned for next year.
Thank you all again for helping the BOOkaty Haunted Shack be a huge success…

We got a great start on the painting this weekend. All the base colors are done!!. Thank you Tyrone for all your help!!! We will be open on October 31st and November 1st this year.
