crophones, a full backline is provided including drums, bass, electric guitar, acoustic guitar and keyboard. Participants are welcome to bring their own instruments as well.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: The Wednesday Open Jam at the East Side Club has been DISCONTINUED. We've had a great time there over the past few months and, in terms of sheer numbers of musicians participating, this was our most successful jam ever. We appreciate the support we received from managers Kris and Jamie. However, the powers that be at that venue have decided that they'd rather do something else with that room.

PLEASE KNOW that we CONTINUE to do the Open Jam at the Black Bear Inn in Cottage Grove on Tuesdays just as we have for the past five years.

ALSO, given the growth of our jam community as evident by the amazing turnouts at the East Side Club over the past several weeks, we are open to re-establishing a Wednesday night jam at some other venue in the Madison area. We are open to suggestions.

Unfortunately, our Wednesday jams at the Locker Room in Madison have been discontinued. We'd like to thank Brett and the other fine people at the Locker Room for 10 months of musical fun.

Michele will be participating in these jams while Josh is home with his wife who had major surgery on Monday. He plans to be back hosting the jams next week.
