Congratulations to Steven Moser – winner of this year’s juried Prairie Art Exhibit and Online Auction for his piece, “Prairie Storm Chargers.”
In the piece, Steven associates the bison’s courage to charge into an oncoming prairie storm with our own ability to take on difficult situations head on - something he himself is all too familiar with.
“After a long season of mourning in my life, I am being blessed with a grace-full season of life: creativity, transformation and more grace upon grace,” said Steven. “My art is some fruit of that inward journey. I now paint not just what I see, but what I want to see.”
To see “Prairie Storm Chasers” and the other 51 pieces in this year’s exhibit, visit the Symphony in the Flint Hills Gallery in Cottonwood Falls from now through June 15. While you’re there, keep an eye out for a piece you would like to add to your own collection and make your bid at kcauctioncompany.com through June 15.
