DJMASSIVE and a set of turntables have a storied past dating back over 18 years. In 1994, at the old age of 16, DJMASSIVE provided music and entertainment for Temple City High School and in the process brought the proverbial roof down. He did this for over 2 years. For the next 4 years DJMASSIVE held sway over the crowds at a variety of all age dance clubs that stretched all the way from the SGV t
o trendy LA. This experience broadened DJMASSIVE’s ability to appeal to a wide swath of audiences and bring them to the floor hungry to move and reluctant to leave. His name began to spread. DJMASSIVE’s ability to serve-up a wide array of sounds including Hip-Hop, Top 40, House/Electro, 80s, and Latin sets him apart from the myopic herd. Between 1999 and 2000, DJMASSIVE was invited to join Global Records Pool and CaliKings Record Pool, invitations he accepted. The Viper Room, the Key Club, Blue, Q’s, The Muse are but a few places that lined up to enlist the services of DJMASSIVE from 2000-2003. He became a fixture in the LA and Hollywood scenes. In 2003 DJMASSIVE was recruited to be the exclusive touring DJ for 4 time Grammy Award nominated Machete/Universal Artist Latin HipHop group Akwid. His tours took him though Mexico, Japan, Spain, Argentina, Costa Rica and a Yahoo.com sponsored tour throughout the United States in 2005. He performed with Akwid for approximately 5 years. This extensive international experience sets DJMASSIVE apart from the rest. A finely tuned sense of the global music scene with the ability to subtly mix in several layers of sound to form a potent set is exactly what DJMASSIVE brings to the 1-2s. In a globalized world it is imperative to work with a DJ who understands a wide spectrum of crowds. DJMASSIVE has performed onstage at the Latin Grammys with R&B singer/actor Tyrese, Ozomatli, and Roselyn Sanchez. His ex*****on was flawless even with the pressure of being in front of CBS network cameras. Television is par for the course for DJMASSIVE, while with Akwid he performed on programs such as Sabado Gigante, Don Francisco Presenta, premios Juventud 2006, Premios Lo Nuestro 2004. Ever the consummate professional, DJMASSIVE is sought after to be the Emcee of weddings and exclusive private party functions. His love of music coupled with his uncanny ability to move the crowds has only grown over the past 18 years. DJMASSIVE continues to perform throughout Southern California region.
