Greetings!

In an effort to safeguard the health of everyone, the City of Plainfield has decided to suspended all activities at the Plainfield Performing Arts Center are until further notice. This includes the 2nd annual free prom dress giveaway that was scheduled for Saturday, March 28, 2020.

However, we are considering a future date or alternate location for this wonderful event. We will share more information as soon as possible about the resumption of the giveaway.
We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding as the city proactively works to stop the spread of the coronavirus. If you have any questions regarding this, please do not hesitate to contact us.

The event will take place on Saturday, April 27th from 10am-4pm at Shilo Baptist Church in Plainfield, NJ. We have a variety of long and short gowns ranging in sizes 2-28, as well as some shoes and accessories.

Join us on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 for a fundraiser event for the Prom Queens Project at “Arooga’s North Plainfield”. Join us for some great food & drinks to help support our cause. By giving your server one of our voucher, 15% of sales will be donated to help fund our FREE dress give away event scheduled for Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Shilo Baptist Church in Plainfield, NJ.

Staff and volunteers from PQP will also be at Arooga’s from 6pm–10pm collecting formal gowns, shoes, & accessories!
