I am so excited to have been invited to be a part of the Rhodes House open air market Saturday October 12th! I will be selling my dried flower creations and all of the dried flowers were grown right here on my flower farm! Hope to see you there!

MEET THE OWNERS: Shelli and Ronnie!

These two purchased the Rhodes House in 2022 with hopes of one day sharing their beautiful piece of Tipton County history not only with friends and family, but also with the public. They are excited to bring this dream to life in October at our first open-air market!

When she's not running around prepping for market, you can find Shelli behind the stylist chair at the salon she owns, Salon of Arlington (also one of our boutique vendors)!

Ronnie is a retiree of the Shelby Co. Sheriff's Dept. and now splits his time between keeping up with 25 acres of grass on the property, some rowdy pet ducks, and working security at a local school.

Please say hello when you see them at the Rhodes House on October 12th!

Well as the seasons end rolls closer hubby and I are working hard getting the fields ready for fall planting. I am so proud of the beautiful compost we created on the farm, planting gold to a flower farmer.
As the evening drew darker hubby said "well babe we have to go inside now" I asked why and he anounced " The street light came on, everyone knows it's time to go inside when the street lights come on!" Lol

Fall clean up, ready to harvest some seed and dry some more flowers!

Well fall is fast approaching so clean up is happening here on the flower farm. I left a row of Celosia go because the stems got so thick but WOW the size of these guys! I will get some great seed for next season and have alot to dry. Same with the Amaranth.
I am hoping to have enough pretty blooms for at least one more farm market and on September 14th I will be at Daffofils and Doodles boutique in Covington for their Birthday celebration with some fall bouquets. Hope to see you there!
