I want to take a moment to thank everyone for all the support yesterday. ❤️It was a very emotional day for me. I apologize for not being able to respond to all the messages. I also want to apologize to the people that didn't see the updated post yesterday about the time being changed. I would never purposely be rude or hurt someone's feelings. I love our community and love being involved. Last night was a crazy night and I had so many people stopping by and helping out. I am so thankful!
We will still be at the store from 9am to 11am in the morning to sale retail inventory...candy, toys, game controllers, decorations, and MORE!!
RULES:
1. Please be respectful! No fighting or negative comments.
2. No holds! That means no comments about wanting items. Must be at the store to get and see prices. I will not be responding to comments.
3. No private messages! I had over 75 messages last night and I just can't keep up.

Lol...overwhelmed! I have about 50 messages with people wanting items and I unfortunately can not keep up. We have a party here until 8:15 this evening, so I am unable to respond or hold items. I will be here tonight when the party ends if people want to come tonight at 8:15 to look/buy. Once again.....I can not hold!!!!!!!!

Bittersweet Anouncement:
I have decided to close Celebration Depot LLC, but will have a big announcement about a future business in the near future. Thank you for allowing me to serve our small community and live my dream of becoming a small business owner. This is not goodbye, just a different pathway to do what is best for my family. I've decided to pivot directions and will make that announcement soon.
We have wonderful resources in our community if you are looking for a place to hold a party: A1 Studios, Thunder Alley, Covington Depot, Covington City Park, Alleghany Highlands YMCA, Covington City Pool, Jackson River Sports Complex, and Mountain Rush(coming soonto our area)

We will be closed this summer beginning June 10th for renovations. Phillip and I are taking our first vacation in over 3 years, then the work will begin. We are unsure of reopening date, but updates will be provided on our page. Have a wonderful summer!

As most of you know, I bought the building a couple of months ago. Remodeling will begin towards the end of April. We are still open until July and booking parties. The back room will be closed first to start painting and new flooring.

Yay, our new bounce house arrived this week and a brand new Pac-Man arcade game! The past 2 months have been so exciting. I officially own the building after renting for 3 years. We are going to close the entire month of July for renovations including brand new flooring and painting. July tends to be our slowest month due to vacations and outdoor parties. I appreciate all my customers, friends, and family who have reached out over the last couple of days with concern and questions over Celebration Depot with the announcement of Mountain Rush. I am going to try and answer as many questions as I can with the information that I have, which is little. First of all, I am excited for this new business to come to our area. I went through the Gauntlet program with some of the people involved in this project. They are wonderful people and have been very supportive of my small business over the past 3 years.

Will Mountain Rush impact my small business? Most likely yes, but a difficult question to answer at the moment. It will be difficult to stay in business with a similar business that is a much grander scale. We definitely discussed Celebration Depot growing in size in the years to come, but unfortunately never had the means to make it happen.
Did you know about Mountain Rush opening? I found out the week of and truly appreciated the heads up.
Are you a part of Mountain Rush? Not at the present time, but could be a possibility.
What are your present plans? I plan to continue operating Celebration Depot as normal until further plans are made. I had plans to announce that after 3 years of hard work, I finally purchased the building last month and made my first payment on it Friday. The announcement now seems bittersweet, but life can definitely be that way.
Could you possibly change business ideas? Absolutely! My friends and family know that I have been throwing the idea around of opening up anIonic Foot Detox and Halotherapy(salt therapy) business.
The past several days have been a whirlwind and I want to give a shout out to all my customers. We stay booked just about every weekend and I appreciate the support. I promise to keep everyone updated as things evolve in our community. Thank you, Michele Nicely, Owner of Celebration Depot LLC.
