Photo sessions generally run $100 at the minimum and up for a session. If the photographer’s prices are lower than that, they probably aren’t going to make a profit at my farm. Time typically can be 10 to 30 minutes for a session. What does that include? Many photographers book through my photography venue so I have experience in knowing how session prices range. These photographers are using their gas to and from my location, wear and tear on their cameras and equipment, hours of editing and if they are booking through my venue with multiple photo setups there are also venue fees. My fees cover my costs of things like the build of my glasshouse, 4 indoor studios, vintage furniture, vintage horse trailer, truck, backdrops, lighting, decor, and sometimes my animals, ect. The list goes on. There’s hard work and dedication poured into the photography industry and my venue and I haven’t even mentioned the sacrifice and dedication it takes. If you’re booking with me, I appreciate you and if you’re booking and supporting any of my participating photographers, I appreciate you. A lot goes into looking for family photos on everyone’s part. We know you are buying outfits, salon and nail costs and paying for those packages for the photos. Overall it’s a great investment for us all for the outcome we all receive. When you’re looking at what to budget on booking your session, please take all this into account. It takes us all working together to be successful and you all matter to me.
Thank you,
Mandy
