Harpist of the Hudson Valley. Born and raised in the Hudson Valley, Shannon is familiar with local venues and up-to-date on the local wedding trends.

In 2016 she completed her B.A. in Music with a performance concentration at The College of Saint Rose and is now a professional freelancing harpist. She was taught by students of the best in the world and learned techniques of both the Grandjany and Salzedo methods.

Shannon Friel is a professional freelancing harpist trained in orchestral, classical, contemporary, Celtic and folk styles. For the last seven years she has regularly played for special events including indoor and outdoor weddings, festivals, religious events, Victorian strolls, farmer's markets, dinner parties, restaurant special occasions and funerals.
