Why We’re the Most Expensive Slide Company in Town — And Proud of It 🌊

Ever wonder what makes Good Times For Rent stand apart from every other inflatable company in the area? Let us tell you.

When we opened our doors, it wasn’t to be just another rental company pushing the same small single lane slides everyone else had. We saw a real need that needed filling… Nobody around here was stocking the BIG ones (still don’t) The showstoppers. The slides that make backyard parties, church events, and community gatherings unforgettable. The slides that you have to build courage on your way up 39 steps to reach the top of the tower before sliding!!

So we made a choice that most companies weren’t willing to make. We invested in the largest water slides money could buy. Our 27’ Tiki Plunge is a perfect example it’s a massive 2-piece setup featuring a 45’ dual-lane water slide that has kids (and adults) lining up to race each other down. At a time when every other local company was only offering single-lane slides purchased used off of market place, we purchased all brand new equipment and introduced dual-lane towering fun to the parties in Wakulla County.

These monsters aren’t easy to move. We had to buy ourselves a heavy-duty electric dolly just to haul them in and out of our warehouse and your back-yard. That’s the kind of investment other companies aren’t willing to make and that’s exactly why they don’t stock what we stock.

We’ve stuck to our business model since day one. We don’t rent single-lane slides. We don’t do “baby” slides. We only offer the largest inflatables in town.
Yes, we’re the most expensive slide company around. That’s not an accident that’s the price of being the biggest and the best.

There are companies renting for $100.00 or more less than us per rental and that’s great we need that option around here but just keep in mind when you rent from us, you’re getting equipment nobody else has the guts to stock, thats twice the size of others in town hauled in and set up by people who’ve built this business around going bigger than anyone else.
So when you’re ready to graduate from those little slides and give your guests something they’ll be talking about for weeks after the event, come on over to where the big boys are at.

Zachary told Live in Crawfordville that they’re just waiting on their final inspection and expect to open within the next few weeks — and from the sound of it, it’s going to be worth the wait.

After spending years gaining experience elsewhere, Zachary moved back home to Wakulla with a clear vision:
👉 to build a place where the community can shop, eat, and gather — all while supporting local farmers, bakers, and artisans.

Oakmens Country Market will bring together a farm-to-table restaurant and a true country-style market, filled with locally sourced goods, homemade breads, fresh produce, and one-of-a-kind items that reflect the best of Wakulla County.

When we spoke with Zachary, it was clear that his passion runs deep. He’s an entrepreneur-minded local with big dreams and genuine roots — someone determined to create something meaningful right here where it matters most.
