Back like I never left! 🤩🤩

Where have I been, you ask? Well, there's this funny thing called obedience! When God asks you to step back, you either listen or you listen. No matter how hard I tried to fight it, I had to follow the call for rest. And boy did I need it! I caught back up with life and it has been so good!

Today we Lift our Voices and celebrate a new freedom! There is Joy in the fact we are not where we were, although we still have a long way to go!

If you are unsure why this Day is celebrated: on June 19th, 1985, the last of the enslaved Africans in Galveston, TX were told they were freed under the Emancipation Proclamation signed a little over 2 years earlier. We all were finally "free"!

Happy Juneteenth (Freedom Day)! When you look in the mirror today, smile, because the best is yet to come!
