We grew up in Quincy together. Neither of us remember our first time meeting (we have pictures of us on the same rec soccer teams over the years). We ended up in the same mutual friend group in high school and after becoming great friends there was a spark!

We went canyoneering in Zion (rappelling down into canyons and hiking, climbing, and swimming our way out)! Nathan is planning our surprise honeymoon and rumor has it canyoneering is on the list. 😉

Answer: What brought us to the ranch:
Because we both grew up in Quincy, it was important to get married as close to home as we could - and especially to be outdoors. Kinship had the perfect blend of the mountains, meadows, and Plumas County vibe. Val and Kevin made us feel right at home and have helped us shape our unique dream wedding while making the process seamless which is exactly what we wanted.
