Due to the rain and wind we had all day yesterday, we will not be opening the sunflowers today. Almost all the flowers are completely drooped over and the ground conditions arent acceptable for customers to be out in the field. We truly apologize for this inconvenience and hope that we can make the necessary changes for next year to be able to have a better growing season.
(Please don’t pull around the closed sign or in the driveway asking us to still see the flowers)

Hello everyone… So with this planting season drought, extreme heat and then the downpour windstorm we got today, it has really truly hurt our sunflowers. We don’t feel that they are pretty enough to have the event this year. We still have several flowers in bloom but the majority have been wilted from the sun and now dropped over from the rain. We don’t want to have unhappy customers and so for that reason we are cancelling the Saturday in the Sunflowers event for tomorrow 😫 we will be offering a free admission day on Labor Day Monday Sept 2nd starting at 10am until dark but that’s the last day we will be open😫 so sorry for this terrible inconvenience we are truly heartbroken this season but hope to see yall again next year!

Just a little friendly note…. With this extreme heat and no rain, we’ve noticed it’s taking a toll on our sunflower babies! That being said…. If you all want to guarantee some good pictures, come see us sooner than later!! We will be open until the sunflowers aren’t pretty anymore but you can tell his heat spell has taken a toll on them so come quick!!!!!!

For those of you who didn’t get to see last year or just to give you all an idea… we’ve planted a couple acrea of sunflowers with “rooms” laid out inside of the field of flowers. We have an entrance line with flower beds and the edge of our sunflowers is lined with lavender we planted last year. I’ve set up chairs, tables, couches, stools etc through out the rooms and hallways so that you all can capture pictures in different areas. There is also a large field view as well. Come out and see for yourself starting today! Every evening 4pm-after dark!

Check this out… we’ve got Michael Lane Music coming out to play for us this Saturday in the Sunflowers!😍❤️Come out see all the sunflower beauty, grab some food and hear him play from 12-2😎 but the event is from 11-3 and the sunflowers will be open until after dark!

We officially have sunflower seeds IN THE GROUND!!!😍 Thanks to the recent bit of rain we got Sunday evening, we were able to get the seeds in the ground yesterday 😁 we’ve doubled the size of the sunflowers this year for over 3 planted acres with 2 more rooms and a walkway thru the sunflowers 🌻 prayers for a good growing season. Can’t wait to see you all the end of August!❤️
