Been busy and reuniting with my woodshop today. Andy’s door and table project have taken up my space 🫤 moved everything aside and relaxed and relearned a lot! There may even be a hole in the wall from a flyaway piece of wood 😳.

I’ve really enjoyed rebuilding and making two new pieces out of an old unusable dresser. I think I’ve used all the good wood except two drawer fronts. I have an idea for them.

Grumpy is setting up to grill our lunch 💕 my mouth is already watering. On our menu, steaks seasoned with Heath Riles garlic butter and pecan on top of a bed of baby lettuce with all the salad fixins.

Karas and Nick surprised me with an early Father’s Day gift, tomahawk steaks. Teresa and I really enjoyed them. I shared with her of course. 😂😩😬

Teresa and I did some smash burgers tonight. We are working on some high level top secret recipes. I had burgers in the traditional sense and Teresa had a burger salad with fresh veggies from the garden.

Teresa and I cooked Halibut Veracruz with morel mushrooms tonight. We were so very pleased with this dish!

The girls and Dawson came to visit Teresa and me for Easter today. We had a feast of Wagyu brisket, burnt ends, smoke mac’n’cheese, and smoked broccoli and cheese.

My family came to visit today. Teresa and I cooked some ribs for everyone. They were a big hit! We threw some bacon wrapped Oreos for dessert!

We did some salmon cakes and green beans again. This has been one of our favorite things we’ve made along with homemade Greek goddess dressing for topping the salmon cakes with.

We did some wagyu Tri tips tonight. Cooked them on a reverse sear. They were awesome!
